(KSL News) A man accused of staging his own stabbing could be charged today. And the charges will likely come from several police agencies.
Authorities from a number of agencies responded to the South Jordan Gateway when the call of a stabbing crossed dispatch Friday.
When they arrived, they found an 18-year-old man stabbed in the chest. He claimed he'd been robbed. But, an investigation revealed the teenager staged the robbery to get attention.
South Jordan Police say they'll file several charges against the victim and others involved. Other agencies say they plan to seek restitution for emergency response efforts.
