(KSL News) -- Some high school students rallied tonight for their former track coach.
East high students showed their support for Ben Stowel.
School administrators say he misused funds and had other conflicts. So Stowel resigned.
But students say they don't believe the allegations.
Erin Simmons Olson, East High Student: "He would never jeopardize his career, his reputation, or the reputation of this high school."
Students say Stowel is one of many coaches to resign at East over the past few years.
We contacted East High School but administrators didn't comment.
