(KSL News) A West Valley City man who scalded his baby boy and broke his arms ten years ago, is going to prison for doing the same thing to another baby.
Robert Martinez will serve zero to five years at the Utah State Prison.
Martinez admitted he placed his seven-week-old son in a sink of hot water back in 1996. That baby also suffered two broken arms.
Now Martinez is confessing he broke the arm and leg on another five-month-old baby last May. Prosecutors say Martinez should never be allowed around children again, but the baby's mother says she might take him back, since he is the father of her other child.
