(KSL News) It's Child Passenger Safety Week, and experts have some reminders about car seats.
They say hand-me-down seats are a bad idea. It's possible they've been damaged, or are too old.
Make sure the safety seat is properly installed.
They even suggest having an expert like a police officer or a hospital worker quickly check to make sure the seat is put in correctly and up to standards.
On Thursday, American Fork will hold free car seat inspections from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Gene Harvey Chevrolet.
