(KSL News) -- Utah Power says about 7,600 people in Taylorsville were without power for an hour this evening.
Police say witnesses report the power outage contributed to a wreck near 54th south. With the traffic signal out, everyone was treating it as a four way stop, but apparently a Chevy Cavalier didn't stop, and ran into a Camero.
Police are investigating whether someone may have broken into a power substation, causing the outage.
