(KSL News) The officers who shot and killed a Utah woman and her boyfriend in Kansas last month are not at fault.

The Ellis County Attorney's office has cleared authorities involved in the incident of any wrongdoing.

Alicia Wingate and Aaron Millenson led troopers on a high speed chase, crashed, then Millenson shot at two of them. They fired back, killing the pair.

Attorneys say the troopers were acting in self defense, and several Kansas law enforcement agencies agreed.
