LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Utah State is adding a flat fee to ticket prices for football and men's basketball.
Season tickets will have an additional $10 surcharge and single-game passes will cost $2 more, with the extra money earmarked for the athletic department.
USU is in the middle of a major upgrade to Romney Stadium. Utah State has five home football games, starting with the season opener against UNLV on Aug. 30. The Aggie basketball team has 17 home games.
The change took effect Wednesday and Utah State announced the surcharge Thursday.
