(KSL News) UDOT officials have decided not to close part of I-15 in Ogden tonight.
They had planned to shutdown the northbound lanes near Riverdale so crews could repair portions of the road damaged in a semitrailer accident yesterday.
The semitrailer crashed into a concrete traffic barrier on northbound I-15 near Riverdale.
The truck caught fire, and the northbound lanes were closed for about eight hours yesterday. Crews were able to patch the road enough to keep traffic flowing.
UDOT officials say they will wait and see if the patch holds up.
