(KSL News) A four-week-old boy in Spanish Fork is dead. The baby died in his mother's bed.
The mom told police she went to sleep with the infant in her twin bed, but when she woke up, the baby had stopped breathing and had turned purple.
It's possible the mother rolled over and smothered the baby as she slept, but investigtaors haven't been able to confirm the cause of death.
Police are waiting on autopsy and toxicology reports, which could take six weeks. They're also interviewing the mother's friends and family.
