PARK CITY — A semi truck driver lost control of his rig Thursday afternoon while heading down Parley's Canyon.
Harwin Singh said the brakes went out, causing him to roll and slide over the off-ramp and onto the shoulder at Exit 133, west of the Mountain Dell Golf Course. While the entire truck turned onto its side, Singh was not injured and the load he was carrying did not spill out.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the exact cause of the accident, which occurred about 1:30 p.m., was still under investigation, but the road was closed while the accident was cleared.
