Samantha Hayes Reporting"We've done everything we can to find that car."

Investigators say a stolen car is the key piece of evidence in the murder of 80-year old Steven Poulos, but it is nowhere to be found.

It has been almost a week since Poulos' death, and detectives say the case it at a standstill. No one has been arrested, no one has been identified as a suspect. That is difficult news for his family..as they gathered to bury him this afternoon.

Police Still Looking for Lead in Murder Case

Detectives say they still have more people to interview and evidence to analyze, but a strong lead, at least at this point, has not emerged.

After decades in the automobile business, Steven Poulos knew how to sell a car. He was even better at making friends, and hundreds of those friends joined his family in saying goodbye to the man whose handshake meant something.

Stephani Poulos, Daughter, Last week: "He was very friendly, took anybody into his home."

Eyewitness News spoke to members of Poulos' family last week after he was found shot to death in his home in Holladay. The only clue is a missing car that was for sale in his driveway.

Sgt. Paul Jarosak, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department: "Primarily, we are still focused on the car. The car is still outstanding, we haven't been able to locate that. Focus is to find the car right now."

They are looking for a maroon colored 1997 Subaru Legacy with California license plate number 4KOB631. Investigators say, so far, no leads have panned out.

Sgt. Paul Jarosak: "We asked for the public's help. Other police agencies are aware of this. We've done everything we can to find that car."

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call.
