(KSL News) -- The unidentified victim of the assault that was apparently left for dead has succumbed to his injuries.
Police say the investigation into the beating is now a homicide investigation.
Yesterday police released a photo of the man, hoping the public would be able to help them identify them. They have received numerous tips from the public on his identity and are now working to follow up on those tips.
