PROVO -- BYU police arrested three suspected burglars who appeared to be on their way to commit another break-in.

Aaron Laplant, Vanessa Horst and Jared Starkweather are accused of burglarizing several student apartments. Police say the three took computers, wallets and credit cards.

Officers got a lead and ran surveillance at the Wyview Park housing complex on the northeast corner of campus. Just after midnight Wednesday, the three drove up in a car and police arrested them.

Detectives say they may be connected to other apartment burglaries in Provo. They were booked into the Utah County Jail for burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
