(KSL News) Salt Lake County announces locations where you can recycle compact fluorescent light bulbs.
Unlike traditional bulbs, CFL's contain small amounts of mercury that require a different recycling process.
The federal government reports that if every American replaced one light bulb with a CFL, we would save enough energy to power 2.5 million homes for a year. It's also equal to removing the emissions of nearly 800,000 cars.
