(KSL News) – A Salt Lake girl was shot in the neck today with an unusual weapon, a paintball gun.
Police say the girl was playing with another child when two men walked up to a fence. One man pushed the gun through the fence and fired two paintballs. One hit a post, the other hit the 11 -year old girl.
Lt. Sandra Urry, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "Very dangerous, and I was very surprised that it was intentional. I thought that maybe people were playing around and it was an accident, but this was definitely an intentional act."
Police are still looking for both men, but don't have a good description.
The 11-year old girl was shaken up but not seriously hurt.
