WENDOVER — The wreckage of a missing plane from Wendover has reportedly been found.
There was no immediate word on the condition of the two occupants.
Search crews from Utah, Idaho and Nevada had been searching since Tuesday for a single engine 1952 Korean War era plane converted for private use.
The plane, with two occupants, took off en route to Idaho Falls about 4 p.m. The Elko County Sheriff's Office received a call about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Salt Lake City airport that the plane had disappeared and was last seen on radar southeast of Jackpot, Nev.
The wreckage was reportedly found just after 11 a.m. in the Sawtooth National Forest.
Snowy conditions made for poor visibility for search crews Tuesday night.
