CEDAR CITY -- A Utah Highway Patrol Trooper's car was hit near Cedar City while he was investigating a roll over crash.

Trooper Kim Riddle was investigating the crash on southbound I-15 at mile post 63 near Cedar City on Monday morning.

Trooper Riddle's vehicle was parked in the median with its emergency lights on when the driver of a passenger car lost control on the snow covered road and ran into the back of the patrol car.

The driver of the passenger car was not injured and Trooper Riddle received minor injuries.

The Iron County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
