(KSL News) -- A babysitter in New York faces criminal charges after police found a drunk toddler in his care.
Sheriff's deputies stopped by Juan Reyes' home in Suffolk County Tuesday for an unrelated reason.
Reyes was unconscious. After officers roused him, they noticed a two-year-old in the home showed signs of intoxication.
Tests showed the child was legally drunk.
Reyes has been charged with two counts of child endangerment.
The children's parents were at the hospital where the mother was giving birth.
