KING KONG: This value-for-money 200-page hardback is the original novelisation by Delow W Lovelace, based on an idea by Edgar Wallace and Merion C Cooper.

It was originally serialised in 1932 in Mystery Magazine and then published in book form later that year.

The movie was then released in 1933 and became a huge international hit.

But the novelisation wasn't reprinted until the mid 60s when Bantam Books brought out apaperback edition. It includes an excellent afterward written by horror movie critic Stephen Jones
