(KSL News) -- Members of the Utah National Guard's "Triple Deuce" returned to Southern Utah for holiday leave with a special gift.

Sergeant First Class Tyler Cowan works for Saint George Police and brought an American flag home to fly outside the department's building. The flag flew over Cowan's base in Ramadi, Iraq.

He says the flag is a thank you to the community and police department for their support.
