(KSL News) Salt Lake City police are looking for three men who stormed a home early this morning with a shotgun.

Police say they walked in through an open door at 500 South 1300 East. They stole a laptop and some cash then left in a four-door silver car.

Police think the suspects and victims may have known each other. They say typically people aren't randomly selected for a burglary.

Lt. Rick Findlay/Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "Most burglaries occur, as you well know, when people aren't at home. So to do one when people are home is a great risk for the suspect. Typically the police experience is they are selected as victims, and that's what we're trying to sort out right now."

Police say no shots were fired and no one was hurt.
