PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Utah Valley State College and the Orem Owlz are in a dispute over the name of the baseball stadium the school owns and the Owlz play in.

The park is called Brent Brown Ballpark, but the Owlz owner refers to the three-year-old stadium as "Home of the Owlz."

The school believed it had an all-encompassing title sponsor that the Owlz would contractually honor.

But the team is considering taking on a name of its own or using a generic name that makes no mention of Brown.

The Owlz also told local media that if they don't comply with the team's terms to NOT refer to the stadium as Brent Brown Ballpark, they would be denied access to the team.

The Owlz say they were supposed to be more involved in finding a sponsor for the stadium, but UVSC says the Owlz have to honor their contract to use the stadium name.
