The store owner said the man came into Stain Glass Illusions and asked about artwork for his mother. The owner stepped into the back of the store to answer the phone, and when he came back the man had pulled a gun out.

The owner said the man grabbed him by the collar and pointed the gun at his neck and said, "We can do this the hard way or the easy way."

"The business doesn't do any cash transactions, so there was no cash in the business," said Salt Lake City Police Lt. Isaac Atencio.

After the owner informed the robber there was no cash in the building, police say he made the owner show him around the store to prove it.

The robber took a laptop and demanded the owner take him outside and open his car for him. The man then took off in the owner's white 1988 Cadillac Coupe De Ville.

Police ask if you have any information on the robbery or if you've seen the car, call 801-799-3000.
