BRUSSELS, Dec 14, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Princess Claire of Belgium has given birth to twin boys in Brussels.
Nicolas and Emeric were delivered by caesarean at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc Tuesday night, hellomagazine.com reported Wednesday.
The babies were a month premature, but hospital sources said the infants were in good health. The first baby was 4-pounds, 7-ounces, while his brother weighed 4-pounds, 10-ounces, hellomagazine.com said.
The British-born princess had made only a few public appearances since her pregnancy was announced in June, sparking concerns about the health of her and the children.
A spokesman for Prince Laurent said the mother and children were fine. The twins have an older sister, Louise, 2.
