(KSL News) -- A broken water line made a big mess tonight in Salt Lake.

It happened at a building at about 14th South and Major Street, which is between State and Main. A pipe in a fire sprinkling system had frozen during the recent snap and thawed out.
Water ran everywhere, doing several thousand dollars in damage. Most of it was to a small church housed in the building.
