WEST VALLEY CITY — Two Taylorsville men have been charged in a Dec. 18 stabbing at a party in West Valley City.

Lalo Hongphakdy, 21, and Timmy Jeff Siharath, 20, were charged Tuesday with attempted murder, a first-degree felony, in 3rd District Court.

A man told police he walked past the two men as he entered a party at a home in the 3800 West block of Eagle Heights Drive (3840 South), the charges state.

Hongphakdy asked the man if he remembered him and stabbed him in the stomach; he and Siharath then followed the man into the living room and continued to attack him, according to the charges.

The man was treated for stab wounds to the neck, stomach and hip.
