(KSL News) The search continues today for a miner missing and feared trapped deep underground in Nevada.

Rescue crews worked through the night at the Midas Gold Mine near Elko to remove 800 tons of rock from 200 feet below the entrance to the mine.

The employee of the Newmont Mining Corporation has been missing since Tuesday when the ground gave way underneath him and the loader he was working on.

Cameras have spotted the loader, but there's been no contact with the missing miner.
