AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) -- American Fork workers are seeking ideas for volunteer projects that can be done by the public.
The Daily Herald of Provo reports that city officials are asking for ideas to be submitted by Jan. 7. Those ideas can include all types of projects, from repair work to babysitting.
The city says it will work to match up prospective projects with the skills and time of those looking for projects to do.
In addition to matching projects with volunteers, the city is also hoping to get more people excited about volunteering.
The city wants residents to complete 50,000 hours of service by April 8.
