PROVO -- BYU sophomore Brock Zylstra and his wife Sarah took on the challenge to fix up a house when they first got married. In the style of MTV's Cribs, the Zylstra's showed their newly remodeled house after all the work they put into it.
When the couple got home from their honeymoon, they lacked a lot of home essentials.
"We were living out of boxes," Sarah said. "We had no bed."
"One of us would sleep on the floor while the other was on the mattress," Brock said. "It was pretty crazy."
"We didn't even have a shower curtain," Sarah laughed. "We have some really good friends that let us come shower at their house."
The couple was able to take a home built in 1944 and fix the walls and floors, painting the house to fit their style.
"We wanted to do to it to make it feel like our own," Sarah said.
"We realize that we can't do everything all at once," Brock said.
