(KSL News) Nearly 2,000 Utah residents were without power this frigid morning.
Residents on the east side of Salt Lake, around 21st South and 9th East, awoke to an outage. Another 1000 residents in Highland, Alpine, Cedar Hills and American Fork were also without power.
An outage was also reported in South Salt Lake and Sugarhouse, bringing the total number of customers affected to nearly 2000.
Electricity has been restored to most customers, but there are still a few without power.
