SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Some of the short films playing at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival will be available online.
Seventy-three short films have been selected to screen at Sundance -- and several of them will be showing online the same day they play in Park City.
Yesterday, festival organizers announced the short-film slate, along with plans to put some shorts online from their first festival screening date through mid-June.
The most-famous name among the directors is Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who with Mary Wigmore co-directs "Dealbreakers." Also notable on the shorts list is "Fourteen," by director Nicole Barnette and "The Pity Card," by director Bob Odenkirk.
The festival runs from January 19th through the 29th.
