NEAR BEAR LAKE -- Rich County dispatch says a pilot landed a small plane on ice over a body of water and is sinking.
Dispatchers say a pilot called them to say he had landed on the ice and was sinking.
The pilot did not know where he was located, but he was on route from San Francisco to Laramie, Wyo.
Authorities from both Rich County and Evanston are currently involved in a search for the pilot near and around Bear Lake.
Initial searches found nothing and no airports have reported any missing or late flights.
