Park City police promote ski, snowboard registration program

PARK CITY -- Park City police are urging skiers and snowboarders to register their gear as the ski season gets underway.

The program uses registration stickers with serial numbers so equipment can be tracked. This is the third year of the free registration program.

Since it was created, none of the nearly 2,000 registered skis or snowboards have been reported stolen.

The police department will periodically set up registration booths at the major ski resorts throughout the season. Those interested can also register at the Park Avenue police facility or by [CLICKING HERE].
