(KSL News) -- For many, remembering to schedule the immunizations is the hardest part. Now there is an electronic email reminder system that will automaticaclly keep track of when it's time to get your child immunized.

Nearly 80 percent of a child's immunizations are done before they reach the age of two. In Utah 20 percent of two-year olds are under immunized and under protected from prevenatble diseases.

Caroline Green, Utah Immunization Program: "Parents are very busy and the more reminders we can give them, the better off the chances are that the children will get immunized on time."

This service is free of charge and the program is user friendly. Click on the link at the top right of this story, then go to the electronic Reminder Service. Type in your childs birthday and a valid email address and reminders will automatically be sent your email.
