LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Brady Jardine recorded career highs of 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead Utah State past Utah 79-62 on Wednesday night.
Tai Wesley dropped in a 3-point shot as time expired to give him a season-high 21 points and help the Aggies (3-1).
Will Clyburn and Josh Watkins led the Utes (3-1) with 15 points each while Shawn Glover added 13.
Trailing 35-26 at halftime, the Utes started the second half with 10-2 run to bring the score to 37-36.
But the Aggies pushed back to a comfortable lead with five consecutive points from Pooh Williams and a pair of 3-pointers from Brian Green. Williams finished with 11 points.
The Aggies shot 30 for 39 from the free-throw line, while the Utes only scored eight points from the stripe.
Jardine scored 14 points in the first half, shooting 5 of 5 from the field and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line.
