PROVO - BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall has been known to be an effective leader and motivator; however, he believes that reading accounts for his motivation and inspiration. This week, coach Mendenhall suggests the book The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran.

While reading a particular poem, coach Mendenhall became interested in the author.

Intending on letting others read the book, coach Mendenhall only gave some elements of the book that he thought were interesting. He believes the book is about giving, service, wisdom, and helping others.

"It's a quick read," Bronco said, "but well worth it."
