(KSL News) A Marine reserve unit from Camp Williams left today for their call of duty to Iraq. The 146 departing Marines are from the Charlie Company based in Riverton.

Family members said goodbye as the Marines loaded buses. Audree York's husband is being deployed. She said, "I'm very proud of him. It's very difficult to let him go, but I know that he's doing it for the right reason."

The unit will be doing military police work in the Al-Anbar province in Western Iraq. This is their second tour of duty.

Four years ago, this group was one of the first Utah Marine units to go to Iraq.
