LOS ANGELES, Nov 18, 2005 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Courtney Love says she has been filling the hours at a California drug treatment center writing new music.

Love said she has written eight tunes so far, which could end up on her next album, the Guardian reported Friday.

The singer/actress revealed the working titles of her rehab-inspired compositions are: "The Depths Of My Despair"; "My Bedroom Walls"; "Sad But True"; and "How Dirty Girls Get Clean."

"I've had nothing but time in here," Love told the Guardian.

Love said she wept with joy when her friend, record producer Linda Perry, brought her an acoustic guitar six weeks ago.

Love was sentenced in Los Angeles Sept. 21 to six months of residential rehab for repeated parole violations.
