(KSL News) Hundreds of volunteers have been working the phones at Primary Children's Medical Center for almost 23 hours.

The 25th annual telethon wrapped up this evening, and the grand total is $2,004,656.

Every penny donated by KSL's generous viewers and businesses throughout the Intermountain West goes to charity care for children. Thanks to the success of this year's telethon, the hospital is able to continue its policy of never turning a child away, regardless of the family's ability to pay.
