Hundreds of thousands of letters addressed to santa claus arrive every year in this small German town, north of Berlin. A team of Santa's helpers respond to each and every letter, which aren't all written in German... Two german children were the first to send letters to santa in Himmelspfort in 1984. They were answered.. and it started a phenomenon. The post office began recieving so many santa letters that in 1995 it started employing extra staff to help answer them all.
