Greg Wrubell Reporting

The Utah Jazz had lost 18 straight in San Antonio... they'd never come back from a 3-1 deficit to win a playoff series.

so a Spurs series win was sort of a foregone conclusion... and that's exactly how game 5 of the western conference finals played out last night.

Deron Williams playing on a sprained foot... he was seriously hampered, but his 3-pointer makes it a 5-point game early.

but what followed was a 14-nothing Spurs' run.

tony Parker and Tim Duncan getting together to key the spurt... they each finished with 21 on the night.

Jazz starters sat for most of the game... 6 Utah bench players played at least 10 minutes... Jazz shoot 38% on the way to a 25-point setback 109-84 the final score.

Aterward the Jazz' dynamic duo questioned the heart of some of their teammates...

DERON WILLIAMS: "DEFINATELY SOME GUYS NOT ON THE SAME PAGE. NOT JUST TONIGHT, BUT THE WHOLE SERIES. AND THE WHOLE PLAYOFFS. IT'S NOT EVEN ABOUT GUYS HITTINGS SHOTS. IT'S ABOUT GUYS PLAYING HARD. IT'S THINGS LIKE THAT. I'M ALL ABOUT WINNING. THAT'S ALL I CARE ABOUT"

CARLOS BOOZER: "IT'S SAD TO SAY THAT BECAUSE WE ARE IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS AND SOME GUYS ALREADY HAVE VACATION PLANS... THAT'S A PROBLEM AND WE NEED TO GET IT FIXED THIS SUMMER."

The Jazz get together later this morning for a final team meeting and locker clean out... the Spurs open the NBA Finals one week from tonight home to the Cavs or Pistons.
