(KSL News) -- A 16-year-old had to be cut from his car when he crashed on the I-15 and 215 interchange near Bountiful.
Police say the teen was going too fast on the wet road and hit a guardrail on the drivers' side.
After firefighters freed him, he was flown to the University of Utah Hospital.
Police say his tires were pretty bald and he could be cited later.
