(KSL News) The legal issues have been settled, and the Legacy Parkway will now proceed. So what does the public think about it?
Build Legacy despite higher Cost?
63% Yes

In a KSL-TV /Deseret Morning News poll, nearly two-thirds of Utahns say they support the Legacy, despite the higher costs.
No semi's allowed
48% Approve
43% Disapprove
No semi trucks will be allowed, and Utahns are split about half and half on that issue.
Speed limit 55 MPH
51% Approve
44% Disapprove
The speed limit on Legacy will be 55 miles per hour. About half of those surveyed support that.
Billboards limited
68% Approve
24% Disapprove
Billboards will only be allowed on private and city-owned property, and not on state land. 68 percent support that condition.
Settle to avoid further court action?
69% Yes
21% No
And more than two-thirds agree that the legislature and governor should have made the settlement on Legacy to prevent future court fights.
