(KSL News) -- An Oregon teenager is missing tonight in Brazil.
MyKensie Martin is a popular student at Summit High School in Bend, Oregon. MyKensie is a foreign exchange student in Brazil this year, but hasn't been seen since attending services Sunday at an LDS Church.
After church she took a bus to the rural town of Unai. Her parents flew to Brazil today because communication has been next to impossible.
Jake Martin, MyKensie's Brother: "They'll say that they've seen her, but they really haven't, just to be on the news or have the limelight. SO we're kind of waiting for my parents to get down there and to join in with the FBI and private investigators down there."
Jake says MyKensie had planned to visit Argentina soon where he served a two year church mission.
The family says they're hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
