(KSL News) -- Fewer Utahns will have people walking through their backyards to read electric meters.
Rocky Mountain Power announced tonight it will start to install automated meters at homes and businesses, starting in July.
The new meters have a radio transmitter that will send data to company trucks, which can compute your bill. Customers should soon get a notice by mail.
