TAYLORSVILLE -- A rollover crash in Taylorsville has killed a Salt Lake County woman.
Police say the 24-year-old woman was the passenger in an SUV as the driver tried to make a lane change on 5400 South near 3200 West around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. But in the process, the SUV clipped another car and then rolled.
Police say the passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the SUV.
An off-duty firefighter happened to be at the intersection and rendered first aid until crews arrived. The woman was taken to Intermountain Medical Center, where she later died.
Police say the drivers of both vehicles were wearing seat belts and sustained minor injuries.
