All-girl rap trio SALT-N-PEPA reformed this morning (4NOV05) to surprise US TV talk show host ELLEN DEGENERES on her daily programme.
The comedienne, a huge fan of the groundbreaking hip-hop group, was thrilled when the trio appeared at the end of her show to perform a reworked version of their hit SHOOP.
Rapper CHERYL `SALT' JAMES told the host, "We heard you needed a new theme tune, so we changed the lyrics a little."
Ellen performed the song a cappella as part of her last standup comedy TV special HERE & NOW. (KL/WNVELL/SH)
