SALT LAKE CITY - A missing 2-year-old girl from Idaho is safe after being found in Farmington, N.M.

Police in Idaho had issued an Amber Alert for Catelyn Sandoval, who was taken by her mother, Georgina Sandoval, Tuesday morning while her father slept nearby. Police thought Georgina Sandoval and an unidentified male could be heading to Utah with the girl.

Television station KTVB reports that on Wednesday, Georgina Sandoval was taken into custody on a $250,000 warrant for custodial interference.

KTVB says police received several reports of the group in Farmington, N.M., where Georgina has family.

Catelyn's mother does not have custody of the girl due to the fact she is a known drug user and has made suicidal threats.
