TAYLORSVILLE -- Taylorsville police are still looking for one murder suspect after the arrest of a second suspect in the same case.

Steven Lee Sanchez and Rodrick Dejolie are both facing charges of murder and aggravated burglary in the Aug. 26 murder of Steven Norman.

Late Tuesday, officers got word Sanchez had been arrested in Farmington, N.M. Dejolie is still at large and should be considered dangerous, according to Sergeant Tracy Wyant.

"Based on the circumstances of the homicide, we certainly would ask people to contact us if they're aware of his whereabouts or have any information on him," Wyant says, "and yes, we would consider him dangerous."

Norman was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a home near 2200 West and 4400 South Thursday night.

At the time, police didn't have a motive or a suspect in the case, but later named Sanchez and Dejolie as persons of interest, then announced charges against them.

Wyant believes the victim and the men charged in his murder had some kind of connection, though he couldn't say what.

Norman leaves behind a wife and two young children.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dejolie or on the Steven Norman homicide can call Taylorsville police detective Jason Huggard at 801-743-7000.

An account* has been set up at Key bank to help pay for funeral expenses. The account is listed in Norman's name.
