(KSL News) A man accused of murder at a South Salt Lake house last month made his first court appearance today.
Daniel Blankenship faces homicide charges in the death of Kevin Kone.
Today the court appointed a defense attorney for Blankenship and set his next court hearing for May 21.
Blankenship told Eyewitness News exclusively that he is innocent and was held hostage by the real killers. He's in jail on a $1.7 million bond.
